Our mission is to grow, strengthen, and promote the economic health and vitality of Downtown Miami. As an autonomous agency of the City, the Miami DDA advocates, facilitates, plans, and executes business development, planning, capital improvements, and marketing and communication strategies.

Permit Clinic

Need help opening a business or resolving permit issues in Downtown Miami?
The Miami DDA, in partnership with the City of Miami and Miami-Dade County, offers free assistance to businesses and residents with Permits, Certificates of Use (CU), Business Tax Receipts (BTR), and Code enforcement issues tied to current or prospective leases.
