Miami DDA partnered with URBAN DIVAS UNITED presented by Neutrogena®
This past April 10th Miami DDA joined forces with URBAN DIVAS UNITED presented by Neutrogena® to live-stream a first of its class virtual concert, which featured an impressive all female-ensemble including reggaeton legend Ivy Queen, Goyo, Chesca, Natalia Jimenez, Nesi, Snow tha Product, Nohemy, Corina Smith, Mariah Angeliq and La Duraca. These empowering ladies took over the stage by storm and celebrated Latinas dominating the urban music genre while paving the way for the next generation of female artists.
It is no secret that Miami is known for its urban music scene and downtown Miami’s picturesque skyline was the perfect backdrop for this group of talented female artists. The historic Downtown Miami has emerged as a desirable location for the music and entertainment industry and by collaborating with Urban Divas United, Downtown Miami came to life more than ever.
And the partnerships did not stop there – to bring together music and purpose, URBAN DIVAS UNITED combined efforts with NPO Conciencia Collective, turning this powerful concept into an international movement that leveraged artists’ voices and the clout of the event to gear the community towards a more inclusive, equitable space. Miami DDA looks forward to continued alliances like this to help put Downtown Miami on the radar and bring more in-person events to the neighborhood.
